Inside Sales Representative
Upside Innovations is a leading manufacturer of aluminum ramps, steps, canopies, OSHA steps, covered walkways, and custom access products. Founded in 2009, we have experienced rapid growth and are now part of SixAxis Manufacturing Technologies, further accelerating and fueling additional growth in our business.
We are seeking talented and driven Inside Sales Representatives to join our growing team onsite at our West Chester location. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving sales and expanding our customer base. You will work closely with our sales manager, business development representatives and fellow sales professionals to develop leads, create quotes and sell our innovative aluminum access products and services to both new and existing customers.
Position responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to discuss project requirements, qualify opportunities, create accurate quotations, and submit the quotation to the customer.
- Review past projects to identify key decision-makers or influencers (e.g., architecture firms, engineering firms, school districts) and strategically re-market them by adding and categorizing contacts in Copper CRM.
- Identify high-potential existing customers for repeat business, categorize them accordingly, and collaborate with marketing to strengthen relationships.
- Assist team members by generating pricing and quotes as needed to support overall sales efforts.
- Proactively follow up on quoted projects, update quote statuses, and establish follow-up tasks until the project is successfully won or closed.
- Work closely with the Project Management team to provide detailed upfront project information, revise quotes as needed, and ensure exceptional customer service throughout the process.
- Conduct market research to identify and engage potential customers, adding them to the CRM and initiating meaningful conversations.
- Answer questions and educate customers on Upside Innovations' product offerings, highlight key advantages, and guide them toward the best solutions for their needs.
- Execute outbound sales calls to generate new quoting opportunities and expand the sales pipeline.
Qualifications
Qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional sales experience
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience (preferred)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade customers effectively
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Confidence in negotiating with customers to drive successful sales outcomes
- Background or knowledge in the construction industry is a plus
- Knowledge or background in the construction industry preferred
