We are seeking Machinists to join our team.
Essential Functions:
- Use of miter saw in the cutting of aluminum
- Set up of mill, drill press, miter saw, and other secondary operations
- Use jigs and fixtures
- Perform other production jobs as needed in other departments including shipping and welding
- Responsible for following established procedures, policies, laws, guidelines, OSHA and company safety standards
Qualifications
Basic Knowledge and Skills:
- Miter saw operation
- Ability to properly set up measurements and angles
- Ability to use manual machining equipment such as, mill, drill press, hand tools
- Possess a mechanical aptitude to trouble shoot
- Ability to read diagrams, blueprints, and assembly procedures
- Ability to lift heavy material above head on a regular basis
