Role Overview:
The Controller will spearhead the company’s accounting, financial reporting, and compliance functions. This key leadership role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional to drive process improvements and deliver actionable financial insights that support long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee general and manufacturing accounting operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to company policies.
- Manage financial reporting, including month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop strategies to enhance financial performance, improve profitability, and optimize operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that drive business growth and strategic planning.
- Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and development.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including sales/use tax and property tax, while partnering with external advisors for audits and filings.
- Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting efforts, offering insights to executive leadership.
- Strengthen internal controls and policies to safeguard financial integrity and mitigate risks.
- Support the CFO with special projects, including process enhancements and system upgrades.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA and CPA/CMA preferred.
- 7 years of progressive hands-on accounting experience, with expertise in manufacturing and cost accounting.
- Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate across all organizational levels.
- Proficiency with ERP systems
- Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
