The Impact You'll Make :
The Retailer Growth team is looking for an experienced Principal UX Designer to oversee the "Business" sections of the website. In this role reporting to the Head of Digital, you will partner with our consumer, brand, content marketing, product marketing, and product teams to ensure that the website reflects Upside's' brand. You have experience in SEO, content management, UX best practices, to increase conversion, organic traffic and overall website visibility.
What you should have : Plan and implement web-based marketing strategies and campaigns via our website(s)Collaborate with designers and developers to maintain website aesthetics, functionality, and user interfaceDraft, implements, maintains, and revises online marketing campaigns to increase sales and revenueCoordinate with other marketing team members to ensure active campaigns are represented on the website(s)Collaborate with our SEO agency and content team to monitor and improve search engine optimization (SEO) results for our site(s) to improve organic traffic and website visibilityMaintain current knowledge of trends, best practices, and new developments in online B2B marketing technologiesCreate and update website content including text, images, videos, and other multimedia elements, ensuring accuracy and relevance.Track website performance metrics like traffic, user behavior, and conversion rates to identify areas for improvement.Analyze user feedback and implement changes to improve website navigation and usability.Develop A / B testing strategies to understand what type of content, visuals, and images perform best for conversionRequired Skills / Abilities :
Proficient with HTML, CSS and web designProject management experienceKnowledge of UX, web content strategy & governanceUnderstanding of SEO, especially technical best practicesConversion rate optimization and A / B testing experienceProficiency in Webflow, Wordpress, and HubspotExperience creating requirements documentationAbility to analyze and synthesize data to provide recommendationsExperience with GA4, Looker, and other reporting toolsFamiliarity with WCAG / Digital Accessibility practicesExperience overseeing user experience, including site navigation / IA, page templates, search, customer journey7 years of related experienceLocation :
This hybrid role requires working onsite at our NYC, DC, or Chicago office two days / week.
Compensation :
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $170,000 - $188,000 equity benefits. The final starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
