Job Duties
- Produce projects on time and within budget
- Monitor and direct productivity of crew
- Set priorities, goals and timelines for projects
- Communicate professionally and accurately about the project
- Follow all Standard operating Procedures (SOP)
- Manage workload and preplan equipment along with supplies
- Trains and develop apprentice in the trade of Commercial Roofing
- Develop and maintain customer service with new and established customers
Requirements :
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to pass pre-hire physical and pre-hire drug screen
- Valid Driver's License with no restriction
- Must be comfortable working more than 6 ft off of the ground
- Reach, lift and maneuver supplies and ladders up to 50 lbs
- Stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
- Good manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
- Minimum experience as a journeyman roofer for a period of 2 years
- Understand all major roofing manufacturer's warranty details
- OSHA 10 hour course / Manlift / Forklift / First Aid certifications (if not, Upson will certify / recertify)
