What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiovascular Tech -- Charge position at Upson Regional Medical Center?
The Cardiovascular Tech -- Charge is responsible for the operation of the cath lab control room during cases and case documentation, patient monitoring, and supply charging. This technician will be responsible for scrub duties in the cath lab as well as assisting in the orientation and training of other techs and staff working in the cath lab area. The position will assist the manager in ensuring best scrub practices are followed, assure safety and ALARA practices are observed in the lab, and leads all duties related to supply management.
Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent, Associate's degree in related field, ACLS certification, and three (3) years experience as a cath lab technician, cardiac and vascular. Prefer greater than three (3) years as a cath lab scrub tech, cardiac and vascular.
