What are the responsibilities and job description for the Med-Surg Nurse Tech position at Upson Regional Medical Center?
The Nurse Tech is responsible for being an integral part of the patient care team. The Nurse Tech will assist patients with the activities of daily living such as bathing, feeding, and grooming. The Nurse Tech will assist the nursing care team (RN, LPN, etc.) with any functions necessary, such as moving a patient, cleaning the room, or any functions required to achieve excellent patient care.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, current BLS certification and Certified Nurses Aide certification OR Medical Assistant certification.
Prefer: previous experience as a CNA or related position.
