What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parking Attendant position at Upson Regional Medical Center?
The Parking Attendant is responsible for the safe transportation of employees (and visitors, when appropriate) to and from the parking areas. This role will ensure individuals are transported away from the construction areas to enter the building through the approved entry points. The Parking attendant will greet employees with a positive and professional demeanor. This position is responsible for being aware of surroundings, aware of the movement of vehicles around the golf carts and parking lots, and reporting concerns to their manager immediately. This position may periodically be responsible for washing the golf carts, keeping supplies with them at all times (such as towels on rainy days, hand sanitizer, paper towels, air pressure gauges, jumper cables, etc.), assisting Security Officers when requested, and all other duties as directed.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. At least two years’ experience as a regularly licensed driver (excluding learner’s permit). Prefer experience driving golf carts, experience with customer service, and/or experience with basic auto troubleshooting (air in tires, jumper cable use, etc.)
