Feet First and Step Up Program Administrator

Primary Objective: The Program Administrator is responsible for managing all administrative tasks to ensure our programs are well-organized and prepared for each season. The Program Administrator will work alongside our Director of Coaching to support our coaches, members, and location partners. The Program Administrator will be responsible for a wide variety of duties including parent communication, league planning, player registration and roster management, jersey inventory and ordering, and light analytical/reporting work.

Program Overview:

Feet First and Step Up are foundational soccer programs designed to instill a love for the game while providing developmental, skill-based training for young players. Feet First focuses on introducing preschool and kindergarten-aged children to soccer in a fun, imaginative way. Step Up Soccer serves players ages 5–7 who are ready for structured skill progression and gameplay. Both programs emphasize holistic growth, combining soccer education with character-building in an engaging environment led by trained coaches.

Job Responsibilities:

Program Administration:

  • Coordinate seasonal leagues and classes, including scheduling and logistics.
  • Manage player registration and rosters using online platforms.
  • Sort registrations into teams and create league and practice schedules.
  • Track and report coach hours for payroll.

Family Engagement:

  • Respond promptly to parent inquiries, providing empathetic customer service.
  • Draft and send parent update emails
  • Maintain and update program information on the website.

Operational Support:

  • Organize player jerseys for distribution by coaches.
  • Assist the Director of Coaching with coach scheduling and preparation.
  • Monitor program performance, tracking participation and preparing reports.
  • Communicate with coaches about program logistics.

Candidate Requirements:

Experience:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or support role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and online registration systems.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills - able to communicate pleasantly with families on the phone and via email.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of juggling multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, including scheduling and coordination of large groups.

Personal Attributes:

  • Passionate about customer service and committed to exceeding family expectations.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with flexible hours.
  • Comfortable learning and adapting to new systems and processes.

Schedule and Compensation:

This position offers part-time hours, approximately 15–20 hours per week, with flexibility to set a schedule that meets the needs of the programs. Most work will be remote, with some in-person requirements for sorting jerseys, season kickoff days, and staff meetings. Daytime hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend messaging as needed. Pay rate: $15/hour.
