Pay $35,000 - $43,000 annually
Community Health and Behavioral Services (CHBS) Supportive Crisis Stabilization Center (SCSC) is looking for mental health professionals to work as a part of an interdisciplinary team to meet the needs of our clients in a high-paced setting.
The Crisis Triage specialist is responsible to promote the individuals’ recovery, provide support to program participants, promote program participant involvement, oversee safety, maintain the facility, equipment and supplies, ensure compliance with governmental and Agency regulations and operating standards, complete all records and reports, provide support and consultation. This position will work with individuals directly in-person and over the phone to assist them in managing crisis situations. This role partners with a variety of providers and services to facilitate immediate needs of the individuals served.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist RN staff in triage, screening and assessment program participants upon entry to the Center.
- Provide crisis intervention services.
- Promote the individual’s recovery by establishing rapport and working in partnership with the individual to achieve individualized goals.
- Support clients in the prioritization of safety and wellness planning and crisis risk mitigation.
- Complete all required documentation and reports according to program regulations.
- Aid in facilitating groups related to tools for managing crisis.
- Promote the individual’s recovery by coordinating, developing and implementing in partnership with the individual, the treatment plan process.
- Promote involvement of family or significant others (of the consumer’s choice) in the recovery process.
- Oversee and maintain the timely complete of all necessary records and reports.
- Act as a liaison with clinical internal programs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma with a year of experience required.
- Associate's degree in mental health or related field (Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling) preferred.
- Certain deadlines and unanticipated developments may require work during evenings, weekends or holidays.
