Job Summary:
Human Resource Assistant-
Assist Human Resources Department with all activities related to the company’s onboarding, benefits administration, and human resource activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Two years of clerical, bookkeeping, or human resource experience
- Personable, organized, problem solving, and communications skills required.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in the use of office equipment, namely word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs
- Attention to detail and accuracy while multi-tasking is required.
- High level of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality is mandatory.

- Clear speech, adequate hearing and vision, excellent listening and communication skills are essential for effective performance.
Performance Requirements:
- Provide timely human resource support by:
- Coordinating personnel activities with managers to include:
- Applicable hire and separation paperwork
- Initial orientation scheduling
- Orientation in-servicing
- On-going employee information/requirement tracking and follow-up.
- Updating personnel records in human resource provider electronic platform
- Paid time off and benefits maintenance within ADP
- Health insurance enrollment and terminations, yearly rates, coordination of open enrollments as well as other benefits such as AFLAC, LTD, etc.
- COBRA administration and follow-up
- Initiate, maintain, update and manage all active and inactive personnel files.
- Respond timely to email inquiries and requests.
- Provide efficient and productive corporate support by:
· Understanding task requirements
· Completing duties thoroughly, professionally, and efficiently
- Continuous improvement to the automation of human resource and payroll applications
· Maintaining correspondences/requests in strictest confidence
· Keeping appropriate files (electronic/paper) as requested
- Show teamwork, initiative, and accountability by:
· Complying with requests, memos and/or policy changes
· Volunteering or initiating assistance in other activities (not listed in JD) when it is beneficial to the company
