Job Summary:

Human Resource Assistant-


Assist Human Resources Department with all activities related to the company’s onboarding, benefits administration, and human resource activities.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Two years of clerical, bookkeeping, or human resource experience
  • Personable, organized, problem solving, and communications skills required.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in the use of office equipment, namely word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs
  • Attention to detail and accuracy while multi-tasking is required.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality is mandatory.

 

Work Environment:

 

  • Office environment

 

Special Physical Demands:

 

  • Clear speech, adequate hearing and vision, excellent listening and communication skills are essential for effective performance.

 

Performance Requirements:

 

  1. Provide timely human resource support by:
  • Coordinating personnel activities with managers to include:
  1. Applicable hire and separation paperwork
  2. Initial orientation scheduling
  3. Orientation in-servicing
  4. On-going employee information/requirement tracking and follow-up.
  5. Updating personnel records in human resource provider electronic platform
  6. Paid time off and benefits maintenance within ADP
  7. Health insurance enrollment and terminations, yearly rates, coordination of open enrollments as well as other benefits such as AFLAC, LTD, etc.
  8. COBRA administration and follow-up
  9. Initiate, maintain, update and manage all active and inactive personnel files.
  10. Respond timely to email inquiries and requests.

 

  1. Provide efficient and productive corporate support by:

 

·    Understanding task requirements

·    Completing duties thoroughly, professionally, and efficiently

  • Continuous improvement to the automation of human resource and payroll applications

·    Maintaining correspondences/requests in strictest confidence

·    Keeping appropriate files (electronic/paper) as requested

 

  1. Show teamwork, initiative, and accountability by:

 

·    Complying with requests, memos and/or policy changes

·    Volunteering or initiating assistance in other activities (not listed in JD) when it is beneficial to the company
