Job Description - Respiratory Therapist

 Job Summary: 

Provides/coordinates the delivery of high-quality home respiratory care services reflective of Upstate HomeCare’s mission and in line with prevailing clinical standards for home respiratory care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy
• NYS license and registration as a Respiratory Care Clinician
• Clinical support for sales executives as needed.
• At least one year of clinical experience is preferred.
• One or more years' experience in homecare with proficiency in set up and management of apnea monitors, home ventilators, PAP therapy and noninvasive ventilators preferred.
• Ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner.
• Some computer literacy and software proficiency strongly preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of applicable professional standards of care.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, up to 50 lbs.

License/Certification:

• RRT (Required) or CRT
• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• RCP License (Preferred)

Experience: Respiratory Therapy - 1 Year Required

Job Type & Schedule:

• Full-time 8-hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
