Job Description - Respiratory Therapist
Job Summary:
Provides/coordinates the delivery of high-quality home respiratory care services reflective of Upstate HomeCare’s mission and in line with prevailing clinical standards for home respiratory care.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy
- NYS license and registration as a Respiratory Care Clinician
- Clinical support for sales executives as needed.
- At least one year of clinical experience is preferred.
- One or more years' experience in homecare with proficiency in set up and management of apnea monitors, home ventilators, PAP therapy and noninvasive ventilators preferred.
- Ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner.
- Some computer literacy and software proficiency strongly preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of applicable professional standards of care.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment, up to 50 lbs.
License/Certification:
- RRT (Required) or CRT
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- RCP License (Preferred)
Experience: Respiratory Therapy - 1 Year Required
Medical Specialties: Home Health
Job Type & Schedule:
- Full-time 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
