Job Summary
The Upstate Cancer Center New Patient Administrative Assistant serves as a resource for the Nurse Coordinator (new patient) group for the Hematology/Oncology department. This position will provide administrative support to applicable group. This position includes coordination of all aspects of new patient referrals within the Cancer Center.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in an administrative assistant capacity (preferably in a healthcare environment) or equivalent combination of education and experience along with excellent oral/written communication, inter-personal, and organization skills required.
Preferred Qualifications
Hematology/ Oncology and EPIC experience preferred.
Work Days
Monday - Friday, Days
