In support of our continued growth and expansion we are seeking highly motivated Advanced Practice Provider to join Upstate's Ortho Trauma Service Team local at our Downtown campus, serving in a full-time role with a small component of First-Assist on surgical cases and procedures.

Work Days
Weekday 8 or 10 hr. shifts, every other weekend, and possible holidays

Key Responsibilities
- Providing expert level clinical care & coordination of care via a full range of services that will improve quality of patient care
- Assess and evaluate patients, order and interpret laboratory tests & diagnostic studies, and arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, referring physicians, and all members of the health care team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s Degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- NYS Licensed/Registered NP or PA.
- Current National Certification consistent to the clinical practice.
- NYS licensed/registered NP or PA required. Have a NPI number and be Medicare enrolled with a Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN) (or eligible for Medicare Enrollment within 6 months of hire.
- CPR-BLS Certification required at the time of appointment.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment and credentialing clearances.
