Job Summary :
This position is based in Syracuse, NY.
- The Audio Video Technician is responsible for installing new AV equipment including projectors, speakers, AV cabling, and displays.
- Programs basic AV control systems and audio DSP (digital signal processor).
- Conducts routine maintenance and updates to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of audio-video systems.
- Promptly diagnoses and resolves audio and video related issues in classroom and conferencing spaces.
- Provides audio video technical support for faculty, students, and staff during classes, presentations, and live events.
- Assists with training of end-users for proper use of audio and video equipment and technology.
- Makes recommendations for upgrades and improvements based on industry best practices.
