Job Summary
Interprets medication orders and prescriptions to ensure they are complete, safe, rational, and compatible with institutional policy. Prepares, compounds and dispenses medications for inpatient and ambulatory use. This includes the preparation of injectable sterile products. Dispenses pharmacy related items. Performs duties in all areas of pharmacy to include inpatient, ambulatory care and satellites.
Minimum Qualifications
Students are limited to a maximum 29 hours per week. Must be a matriculated undergraduate or graduate student in Pharmacy School. Must be able to work rotating shifts, days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Work Days
Rotating schedule between 8am-6pm. Weekends and holidays based on operational need.
