Job Summary:
Capital City Aquatics is seeking a dedicated Lifeguard Assistant Manager to assist with overseeing lifeguard staff and daily pool operations. The ideal candidate will support the Pool Manager in ensuring the safety of patrons, providing training and leadership to lifeguards, and maintaining a high standard of pool safety, cleanliness, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Pool Manager in supervising lifeguard staff, ensuring proper coverage, and maintaining scheduling.

Monitor pool operations to ensure a safe environment for all patrons, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.

Perform lifeguarding duties when necessary, including rescues, first aid, and emergency response.

Assist with lifeguard recruitment, training, and certification processes.

Conduct routine safety checks and pool inspections, reporting any issues to management for prompt resolution.

Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to lifeguards to improve performance and safety.

Communicate with customers to address concerns, answer questions, and provide a positive and professional experience.

Assist in organizing pool events, swim lessons, and other community programs.

Help maintain a clean and well-functioning pool environment, including overseeing maintenance and repairs as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in lifeguarding and customer service is preferred but not required.

Current CPR, AED, Lifeguard, and First Aid certifications are required.

Ability to remain calm and take decisive action during emergency situations.

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team and resolve conflicts.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; multilingual abilities are a plus.

Ability to work outdoors for extended periods.

Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.

Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed for pool operations.

Preferred Qualifications:
