Pool Managers at Capital City Aquatics are responsible for overseeing the operations, staff, and safety of our pool facilities. They ensure the highest level of service for our clients and pool patrons by supervising lifeguards and pool attendants, maintaining facility standards, and ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations. Pool Managers are expected to provide strong leadership, efficient communication, and attention to detail in day-to-day pool operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Supervision:
- Oversee lifeguards or pool attendants depending on staffing at the facility.
- Ensure employees are following safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Schedule shifts and assign daily tasks to staff.
- Lead by example and foster a positive work environment.
- Facility Operations:
- Monitor pool chemistry and ensure it stays within acceptable levels.
- Inspect and ensure all pool equipment (filters, pumps, etc.) is functioning correctly.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the pool area and surrounding facilities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Communication & Leadership:
- Act as the primary contact for staff for day-to-day operations.
- Communicate facility needs and issues to Capital City Aquatics leadership.
- Manage conflicts or issues with patrons in a professional manner.
- Ensure all required reports, such as incident reports and daily logs, are completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to pool patrons and clients.
- Ensure patrons have a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Address customer concerns and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Prior experience as a lifeguard, pool attendant, or in a similar role preferred.
- Maintain relevant certifications.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
