Upstate Steel is currently hiring a CNC burning table operator
We are a family owned company and major fabricator and supplier of structural steel, sheet and plate. We service a variety of industries, including commercial contractors, home builders, municipalities, highway and bridge contractors and DOT work. Our services consist of shearing, sawing, CNC cutting, forming, rolling, and code welding. Responsibilities:
- Operate a CNC Burn table
Required Qualifications:
- Must have experience in CNC motion controls and steel fabrication
- Overhead crane and fork lift experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Construction and/or industrial work experience required
- Some heavy lifting may be necessary
- Being able to stand on your feet for long periods of time
- A valid driver’s license
- Working conditions can be noisy, dusty, hot, cold
- Extended hours may be required during peak production
