Press Break Operator

Upstate Steel is currently hiring a Press Break operator.

Upstate Steel is currently looking for a Press Break operator. We are a family owned company and major fabricator and supplier of structural steel, sheet and plate. We service a variety of industries, including commercial contractors, home builders, municipalities, highway and bridge contractors and DOT work. Our services consist of shearing, sawing, CNC cutting, forming, rolling, and code welding. Responsibilities:

• Operate a press break

Required Qualifications:

• Must have experience in Press Break Operation or similar field
• Overhead crane and fork lift experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Construction and/or industrial work experience required
• Some heavy lifting may be necessary
• Being able to stand on your feet for long periods of time
• A valid driver’s license
• Working conditions can be noisy, dusty, hot, cold
• Extended hours may be required during peak production
