What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Assistant Professor - Primary Care/Internal Medicine position at Upstate University Hospital?
Job Summary : Provide high quality, evidence-based clinical care to patients; Offer clear and effective instruction within area of expertise to students in the Colleges of Medicine and Graduate Studies and house staff; Promote high quality research, maintain regular publications and offer research training to medical, graduate, and post-doctoral students; Consult and collaborate with colleagues; Facilitate goals of SUNY Upstate Medical University; Participate in hospital and departmental governance, curriculum development, administration and medical service group meetings Minimum Qualifications :
MD or foreign equivalent, NYS license or eligible, BC / BE in Internal Medicine
Preferred Qualifications :
Previous experience with general medicine patients in an academic healthcare setting preferred
Work Days :
Monday through Friday daytime hours
