Job Summary :
The Upstate Cancer Center New Patient Administrative Assistant serves as a resource for the Nurse Coordinator (new patient) group for the Hematology / Oncology department. This position will provide administrative support to applicable group. This position includes coordination of all aspects of new patient referrals within the Cancer Center.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in an administrative assistant capacity (preferably in a healthcare environment) or equivalent combination of education and experience along with excellent oral / written communication, inter-personal, and organization skills required.
Preferred Qualifications :
Hematology / Oncology and EPIC experience preferred.
Work Days :
Monday - Friday, Days
