What are the responsibilities and job description for the PHARMACY TECHNICIAN position at Upstate University Hospital?
Job Summary : Provide assistance to pharmacist in the daily operations of dispensing oral and intravenous medications. Follow all state, federal, and local laws, rules and regulations while assisting in the preparation and / or dispensing processes. Minimum Qualifications :
Associate's Degree in Science or Health related field, or completion of two years of pharmacy technician experience (preferably in a hospital setting) or completion of military / other formal technician program provided the program encompasses minimum of two years, and National Pharmacy Technician Certification required.
