Job Summary :
The mission of SUNY Upstate Medical University is to improve the health of the communities we serve through Education, Biomedical Research, and Health Care. Beyond our Downtown campus, we provide care through our clinics and offices across the greater Syracuse area.
In support of our ongoing growth, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Practice Provider to join Upstate Women's Health Service (WHS) Outpatient Office located within the Upstate Health Care Center.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct outpatient OB / GYN encounters,providingeducation to and interfacing with primary teams, patients, and families.
- Assess and evaluate patients, perform minor procedures, order and interpret laboratory tests & diagnostic studies, and arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, referring physicians, and all members of the health care team.
As an APP , you will be an integral member of the healthcare team, demonstrating professionalism, leadership, and a commitment to Upstate's mission, vision, and values, while adhering to all institutional policies and procedures.
