What are we looking for?
We are seeking enthusiastic and self-motivated Overnight Emergency Medical Receptionist to join our Client Relations team. The Emergency Medical Receptionist is the clients’ (both pet owners and referring veterinarians) first impression of the practice, on the phone or in person, making it a critical role in our hospital.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Quickly and accurately input client information for emergency visits.
- Guide clients through financial decisions and applying for financing options available
- Gather and organize medical records for pets coming through the Emergency service as needed, especially outside the hours of the Medical Records Department.
- Answer incoming phone calls and address emergencies or other inquiries as needed.
- Prepare all appropriate paperwork needed for Emergency appointments
- Assist clients through the euthanasia process, discuss cremation options as well as complete necessary paperwork for these services.
- Be able to identify the main kinds of STAT cases that come through our Emergency Service and notify medical staff of STAT situations.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Veterinary or Human Medical field
- Must be able to multitask while remaining professional, focused, composed and positive.
- Must be able to establish an appropriate and effective rapport with patients, co-workers and medical staff.
- Excellent customer service skills and must display integrity, friendliness and compassion.
- Basic computer skills
Schedule:
- 3, 12-hour shifts

Qualifications
What are we looking for?
We are seeking enthusiastic and self-motivated Client Relations Specialists to join our team. The Client Relations Specialist is the clients (both pet owners and referring veterinarians) first impression of the practice, on the phone or in person, making it a critical role in our hospital. We are looking for Client Relations Specialists who are able to work a variety of shifts, including but not limited to; day, evening, or overnight shifts as well as weekends and holidays. Client Relations Specialists must possess excellent telephone and in-person client service and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast paced and team-oriented environment. The ability to handle multiple tasks at once and a close attention to detail are required. Strong organizational skills, team orientation, and computer experience are essential in the day to day functions of this role. Candidates should have compassion for animals and their owners. Prior experience within human medicine or a veterinary hospital is preferred.
