Upstate Veterinary Specialties (UVS) is a privately owned, specialty and emergency veterinary practice located in the Capital District of upstate New York. We Offer a congenial, supportive work environment with board certified specialists in Cardiology, Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Radiology, Physical Therapy, and Surgery. Our mission is to help our patients live longer, happier lives through expert medical care and compassionate customer service.
Our hospital is a custom-built, 40,000-square-foot facility. Our departments are supported by experienced LVTs, assistants, and client relations staff. To maintain our high-quality patient care, our hospital includes diagnostic ultrasound, critical care cages, a full in-house laboratory, and a blood bank. In addition, our hospital is equipped with advanced imaging modalities, including 1.5T MRI, 64-slice CT scanner, and multiple ultrasound units.

- UVS offers a housing allowance benefit to both full-time and part-time employees who work consecutive shifts. A daily or monthly allowance will be offered to employees who live more than 60 miles from UVS in order to obtain temporary housing while completing their scheduled shifts. This benefit is offered as part of the employment agreement upon hire.
