Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator with a CDL A license for our cementing operations. This role involves operating and maintaining equipment used in cementing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent operational skills, and the ability to work long hours in a demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cementing equipment safely and efficiently in the field.
- Perform pre-job and post-job equipment inspections.
- Maintain and service cementing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in rigging up and rigging down of cementing equipment.
- Monitor and control the cementing process to ensure it meets project specifications.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and timely.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL A driver's license.
- Experience operating cementing equipment in oilfield operations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform equipment maintenance.
- Ability to work 15-hour days and approximately 100-hour weeks.
- Willingness to work significant overtime.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
