What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronic Technician position at Uptalent?
We are looking for experienced Electronic Technicians to join our team! If you have a strong background in electronics, troubleshooting, and repairs, this is your opportunity to work in a shop or field setting with competitive pay and great benefits.
Available Positions:
Shop Technician –
- Schedule: 5 days on, 2 off OR 14 days on, 7 off
- 12-hour workdays
- Housing provided if home is over 1 hour from the shop
- If on a 14x7 schedule, it will sync with the field hitch (Wednesday-Tuesday)
Field Technician – Traveling Role
- 14 days on, 7 off rotation (Wednesday-Tuesday hitch)
- Travel required to job sites in North-Central PA, Eastern Ohio, and West Virginia
- 14-15 hour workdays
- Full housing provided
- We can fly in top-tier candidates from out of the region, though local/regional applicants are preferred
Earning Potential
- Unlimited OT available – Employees can work on days off for extra income
- Field roles have significant earning potential due to long work hours and OT opportunities
Requirements:
Experience as an Electronic Technician
Strong troubleshooting, repair, and diagnostic skills
Ability to work in a shop or field environment
Willingness to travel (for field roles)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.22 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 60 – 100 per week
