Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other heavy equipment to transport materials within our warehouse. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient operations and ensuring that products are handled safely and effectively.
Duties
- Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading trucks.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and ensure accurate stock levels.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in building pallets for shipping, ensuring proper stacking and securing of materials.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of materials handling techniques and best practices.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving processes.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues as they arise.
- Experience using RF scanners for inventory management is a plus.
- Understanding of OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

- Monday to Friday
