Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse environment, contributing to the efficient operation of our facility. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new skills. The Laborer will support warehouse management by assisting with order fulfillment, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and reach trucks safely to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Assist with order picking and packing to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
- Support warehouse management in maintaining accurate inventory levels using systems such as AS400.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Build and assemble products as needed, demonstrating mechanical knowledge and skills.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or labor-intensive role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience in building products is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team environment are essential for success in this role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.50 per hour
Expected hours: 60 – 80 per week
