What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Uptalent?
This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a nationwide Oil & Gas company rotating to Midland, TX.
Pay Rate: $22 / hour
Hours: 1 day shift opening, 1 night shift opening (8 hour shifts, Monday - Friday)
6 month contract
Job Summary:
- Set up, monitor and operate various pieces of equipment associated with the manufacturing facility requirements under direct supervision.
- Rewind, cover line, packager, braider, plastic extruder.
- Involved in operation of multiple machines at one time, building reels, or operating forklift.
- Responsible for repair, patching or splicing of pipes.
- May perform quality assurance activities as required by manufacturing/engineering specifications and ISO requirements.
Qualifications
- Proficient in blueprint reading and mechanical knowledge
- Experience in manufacturing and machining processes
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Basic math skills for quality control and materials handling
- Experience in factory settings, assembly lines, and tooling operations
