Job Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining the overall functionality and appearance of our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry work, and repairs
- Assist in supervising maintenance staff and contractors
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment, including logic controllers
- Support welding, electrical, and plumbing tasks as needed
- Provide leadership in coordinating maintenance projects
- Deliver exceptional customer service while addressing maintenance issues promptly
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment
- Use an ohmmeter to test electrical circuits
Requirements
- Experience in residential painting and facilities maintenance is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge, including the ability to work with logic controllers
- Proficiency in welding, electrical work, and plumbing tasks
- Strong leadership skills to supervise maintenance activities effectively
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with tenants and address their needs
- Familiarity with using an ohmmeter for electrical testing
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $17.53 - $18.00 per hour
