Job Overview
1st Shift 7AM - 5PM and we have 2nd shift 4 PM until finish OT avg 70hr/wk
Every other weekend on call
We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler will be responsible for the movement, storage, and control of materials in our warehouse facility.
Responsibilities
- Utilize warehouse management systems to process and track inventory
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to move materials within the warehouse
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, including loading and unloading trucks
- Use order pickers, clamp trucks, cherry pickers, cranes, and other equipment as needed
- Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment
- Assist in inventory management and cycle counting processes
Qualifications
- Experience in material handling, preferably in a warehouse setting
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Valid forklift certification is a plus
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
- Understanding of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $19.50 - $20.00 per hour
