Pay Rate: $22/hr Overtime
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Every Other Weekend
Hours: 80–110 hours/week (Extensive OT Available)
Job Overview:
We are looking for a Mechanical Technician to join our Odessa-based shop, working on oilfield tools specific to artificial lift systems. This is a great opportunity for anyone with general shop or mechanical experience—no prior oilfield experience required. You'll be working hands-on with tools, equipment, and assemblies in a fast-paced shop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical work on artificial lift tools in a shop setting
- Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble tools and components
- Follow work instructions, standard procedures, and safety practices
- Stand for extended periods during shifts (no heavy lifting required)
- Keep a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with shop team to meet production and repair timelines
Requirements:
- Mechanically inclined with any kind of shop or hands-on work experience
- Willing and able to work long hours and every other weekend
- Capable of standing throughout the day (no lifting required)
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Willingness to learn and grow in the oilfield industry
