Industrial Plant Operator
This is an exceptional opportunity to work with an Oil&Gas Services company in DeRidder, Louisiana
Job Description:
Pay Rate: Starting at $35 or more depending on experience plus overtime, Medical, Dental and Vision under a W-2 Contract to Hire
Hours 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, up to 84 hours per week
Rotation: 14 days on, 14 days off
Housing provided by the company
Per diem: $35/ day
Experience in operating industrial plants, ideally related to carbon capture
Experience with industrial control systems, SCADA systems, or similar process automation technologies is preferred
Experience in maintaining equipment generally found within industrial processing facilities (O&G or Chemical)
Skills & Competencies:
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of carbon capture technologies and environmental sustainability practices is a plus
Ability to monitor and operate complex systems and equipment
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work in a team and collaborate across departments
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Valid driver’s license
Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, First Aid, etc.) are a plus
