Overview
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Worker to join our team at a busy distribution center. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy equipment in a warehouse setting.
1st Shift 7AM - 5PM OT avg 70hr/wk
Every other weekend on call
Must have warehouse experience, forklift & must be computer savvy (experience with ERP software big plus) SAP experience big plus
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks with products and supplies
- Utilize cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and other equipment as needed
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and other machinery
- Assist warehouse supervisors with inventory management
- Operate order pickers to fulfill customer orders
Requirements
- Prior experience in materials handling and distribution center operations
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, cherry pickers, and clamp trucks
- Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $19.00 - $19.50 per hour
