UptimeAI ( is a Venture capital-funded startup reinventing manufacturing operations with enterprise AI software for heavy industries like power generation, refining, chemicals, LNG, cement, and others. UptimeAI offers “AI-based virtual expert” that empowers operators to solve reliability, process, and performance issues like the experts we trust. UptimeAI combines the latest AI techniques, 200 years of subject matter knowledge, and self-learning workflows. We work with large enterprises like Shell, BASF and others.
Location : Remote (Houston or San Francisco preferred)
Travel : 25-35% or as needed. Think QBR, milestones, relationship building, etc.

About the Role :
As a Senior Customer Success Manager , you will be the first member of a newly created team, dedicated specifically to Customer Success. This includes leading a team of experts to deliver transformational value with our AI-powered plant monitoring software, "AI Expert." This revolutionary technology combines advanced analytics and deep industry knowledge to help oil & gas, chemical, and manufacturing operations optimize performance and reliability. You’ll be at the heart of customer success—deploying solutions, driving adoption, and ensuring every client achieves measurable results that drive renewals and expansion.
What You’ll Do :
- Be the Customer Champion : Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and users at plant sites and corporate levels. Understand their goals, expectations, and success metrics to deliver exceptional outcomes.
- Drive Value : Oversee the deployment and adoption of UptimeAI solutions, ensuring high ROI and satisfaction for every client.
- Collaborate for Success : Coordinate timelines and deliverables with internal teams, including implementation consultants, remote monitoring engineers, and product teams.
- Lead Renewals & Expansion : Partner with account managers to secure renewals and drive revenue growth through solution adoption.
- Stay Hands-On : Master the software to provide actionable insights, meaningful discussions, and impactful feedback to clients.
- Empower Teams : Guide plant-site teams to leverage operational insights, track benefits, and generate detailed performance reports.
- Provide Continuous Support : Be a trusted advisor for clients, resolving questions and ensuring seamless use of the solution.
- Feedback Pioneer : Share client insights and improvement ideas to refine the software and strengthen its impact.
