What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispensary Agent - Part Time (Weekends) position at UpTop?
Description
Our Dispensary Agents are not only the face of our brand but help patients and customers in finding the products that best fit their needs and lifestyle. How? By asking questions, listening, and providing an unmatched customer experience in the cannabis marketplace!
The daily grind:
- Greet customers and patients with a smile and positive attitude.
- Assist customers and patients in navigating through their cannabis education journey.
- Build lasting relationships with regular patients/customers to promote regular store visits.
- Partner with team members in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
- Provide patients and customers alike with information on types, methods, and efficacy of various cannabis products (we do not provide medical advice).
- Continue on-going cannabis education and training.
- Provide support to managers and other Dispensary Agents as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation/storefront.
- Review online orders to ensure accuracy before pick-up.
- Understand and apply detailed compliance regulations as required by local and state laws.
- Stock, merchandise, and replenish displays of regulated and unregulated inventory.
- Process transactions at the POS and ensure the state-monitored inventory system (METRC) accurately updates the amount of products available.
Experience & Education
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of hospitality (customer-facing experience).
- You’re at least 21 years of age or older.
- Must be and remain compliant with all regulatory requirements for working in the cannabis industry.
- Helping others find what they need to leave satisfied brings a smile to your face.
- You ask questions when you don’t know something and are genuinely curious about the evolving industry.
