Job Description
We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic team players with a servant's heart to join us as servers! At Uptown Cantina, you’ll play a key role in providing amazing service while sharing your love for fresh, local ingredients and authentic Latin flavors.
Responsibilities
- Warmly Greet Guests: Welcome our guests as if they were family. Our repeat visitors are the heart of our restaurant, and we love to take care of them!
- Guest Satisfaction: Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure everything is perfect.
- Anticipate Needs: Be proactive in fulfilling special requests and thinking ahead for our guests—we want to surprise and delight them!
- Payment Processing: Handle payments quickly and accurately with a smile.
- Organized Workspace: Keep your work area clean and organized—we believe in creating a tidy space for everyone.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with your teammates to ensure smooth service and lots of laughter!
Requirements
- Previous experience in a service-related field is a plus!
- A passion for delivering great service and creating memorable experiences.
- A strong desire to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to thrive in a busy, fun environment.
- Attention to detail and a positive approach to problem-solving.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Birmingham, AL, United States.
