POSITION OVERVIEW
The Consignment Associate is the backbone of the Store, ensuring our customers’ items are priced and tagged properly. Our staff participate in all of our social media efforts, helping to plan and work our special events.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding service to our consumers in line with Uptown's mission.
- Tag and accurately price high-volume of items per shift based on pricing/buying standards
- When pricing and tagging is completed, help with daily store operations, which include but are not limited to: cashier, pricing and listing new inventory, mark downs, and maintaining cleanliness
- Reports to work as scheduled; records time worked accurately by using Uptown’s Time and Attendance system; remains flexible to the needs of the business.
- Adhere to Uptown’s Asset Protection policies and procedures, including shortage prevention, inventory control, and compliance procedures.
Skills and Experience We’re Looking For:
- Previous retail experience
- Are sales and goal oriented
- Excellent typing and data-entry skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to connect with store team members and customers
- Desire to succeed in a high-growth, fast-paced retail environment
- Have a passion for clothing, latest trends, and style
- Flexibility in work schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
- Ability to place and arrange items on all shelves and racks daily
- Ability to read instructions, reports, and information on computer/register screens and to key information into the computer daily.

Pay: $16.90 - $17.49 per hour
