What are the responsibilities and job description for the Uptown Theater Server position at Uptown Hospitality Inc?
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring their concert experience is memorable. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about the music, customer service and enjoy interacting with people. This is event driven based on the concert calendar. Some weeks we will have multiple shows and some we may have one or none.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly and provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Take orders and deliver beverages with precision and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized VIP area, including bussing tables and disposing of trash.
- Provide helpful and knowledgeable assistance to guests, answering questions and making recommendations as needed.
- Utilize Appetize POS to process orders and manage table seating.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the cocktail menu
- Provide exceptional guest services, including resolving any issues or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a server is preferred, preferably in a beverage server role.
- Excellent guest service skills with a focus on helping and supporting guests.
- Proficiency with Appetize POS and the ability to quickly learn new technology.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and move efficiently around a concert venue.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.
- A passion for delivering exceptional service and exceeding guest expectations.
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with guests and colleagues.
- A commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.57 per hour plus tips
