Responsibilities
- Perform professional makeup applications for various occasions including weddings, photoshoots, and special events.
- Provide consultations to clients to understand their preferences and desired looks.
- Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to recommend suitable products and shades for each client.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all tools and workspaces in accordance with industry standards.
- Assist clients with eyelash extensions and hair styling as needed.
- Engage in retail sales by promoting and upselling beauty products to enhance client satisfaction.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring a positive experience for all clients during their appointments.
- Stay updated on the latest beauty trends, techniques, and products to provide informed recommendations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Makeup Artist or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
- Strong knowledge of makeup application techniques, color theory, and cosmetic products.
- Experience in retail sales and upselling is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients effectively.
- Familiarity with eyelash extensions and hair styling is a plus.
- A valid cosmetology license is preferred but not mandatory; relevant certifications will be considered.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation.
