Upward Engine is seeking an engaging project coordinator to assist our web team in moving projects through the web process and launching new websites for our clients. A Project Coordinator serves as a liaison between our clients and the creative teams to ensure a successful competition in a timely manner. Responsibilities include client engagement, market research, sitemap creation, effective management of multiple projects concurrently, communication between clients, designers, content writers, and developers, as well as tracking and reporting progress of projects to management.
Skills & Qualifications
A Project Coordinator is accountable for the movement of a project through the Web/Dev process for various client websites across a range of industries and verticals. They will need to understand a client’s needs and effectively communicate those needs to our designers, content writers, and developers. Additionally, they will need to create sitemaps to assist the team in understanding the scope of the project. This role is client-facing, directly working with clients, conveying strategy through ongoing meetings and other modes of communication. This position does not require knowledge of coding; however, understanding the basics of WordPress and its abilities is necessary. Having the ability to consult with a client and assist the creative team in building out websites that look and function as discussed is critical for success.

Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comparable Google products, including Google Sheets, Docs, & Slides.
- Ability to connect with all types of people.
- Excellent organizational, communication & interpersonal skills, particularly written & verbal communication.
- Experience in topic research is a plus.
- An understanding of the website process and creating website site maps.
- 2 years in project management is a plus.
- An understanding of SEO best practices and setup.
- Familiarity with WordPress.
- Prior agency experience is a plus.
- Prior experience utilizing a project management platform (e.g., ClickUp, Asana, Basecamp, Trello, etc.) is a plus.

Specific Responsibilities Include
- Interface directly with clients and learn the goals, needs, and wants of their website.
- Research and understand a variety of complex client industries & their competitive landscapes.
- Develop and execute a sitemaps for client's websites that addresses every page needed as well as calls to action as needed.
- Order content from our content team as needed.
- Gather all content and assets to a single location, like Google Drive, and pass along all the assets to the designer to craft visuals.
- Work with our SEO team to guarantee an SEO friendly website with titles, meta descriptions, etc.
- Manage the project and communicate weekly with clients as to the status.
- Ability to manage a variety of clients concurrently.
- Excellent communication with clients.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to unique project situations.
- Strong organization skills.
- Self-motivation, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Strong time management skills are necessary.
- Ability to work collaboratively & communicate effectively with the rest of the team, clients, and project partners.
