Overview
We are seeking flexible, compassionate and responsible Babysitter to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for children and the ability to create a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere. This position involves caring for infants, toddlers, and school-aged children, ensuring their well-being while fostering their development through play and educational activities.
Schedule:
Support for school off days and sicks days as well as occasional weekends.
School off days: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Weekends could be day or evenings for date nights!
Duties
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and stimulating environment.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide daily care including feeding, diapering, bathing, and dressing infants and toddlers.
- Assist with homework and educational tasks for school-aged children.
- Maintain a clean and organized play area, ensuring toys and materials are safe for use.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's activities, behavior, and any concerns.
- Ensure the safety of children at all times, adhering to established safety protocols.
- Administer first aid when necessary and manage any minor injuries or illnesses.
Skills
- Proficient in First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
- Experience in babysitting or nannying with references available upon request.
- Strong background in childcare, including toddler care and infant care.
- Ability to educate children through creative play and structured activities.
- Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Familiarity with daycare settings is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with both children and parents.
- Patience, reliability, and a nurturing demeanor are essential qualities for this role.
