Job Description:
A Senior RCM Analyst is sought to lead revenue cycle analysis, identify improvement opportunities, and develop strategies to enhance revenue, reduce costs, and optimize billing.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Perform in-depth analysis of revenue cycle data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to track key performance indicators such as days outstanding in AR, denial rates, claim rejections, and cash collections.
- Utilize analytics tools and software to model financial impacts of process changes and initiatives.
Project Management
- Manage or assist in RCM projects that improve workflow efficiencies, reduce costs, and enhance overall revenue cycle performance.
- Work with IT and system administrators to implement and test system updates, new software, or enhancements that impact the revenue cycle.
Financial Impact
- Conduct financial impact analyses related to changes in payer contracts, reimbursement rates, or regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate revenue forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
This is a 100% remote opportunity requiring a Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, business, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in revenue cycle management, healthcare analytics, or related areas, with a strong focus on data analysis and process improvement, is also necessary.
