The role involves collaborating with departments like billing, finance, and accounting to ensure efficient and compliant processes.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
﹘Perform in-depth analysis of revenue cycle data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
﹘Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to track key performance indicators such as days outstanding in AR, denial rates, claim rejections, and cash collections.
﹘Utilize analytics tools and software to model financial impacts of process changes and initiatives.
Project Management:
﹘Manage or assist in RCM projects that improve workflow efficiencies, reduce costs, and enhance overall revenue cycle performance.
﹘Work with IT and system administrators to implement and test system updates, new software, or enhancements that impact the revenue cycle.
﹘Financial Impact:
﹘Conduct financial impact analyses related to changes in payer contracts, reimbursement rates, or regulatory requirements.
﹘Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate revenue forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
Education:
﹘Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, business, or a related field.
