Schedule: Days/Evenings/Nights, including some weekend and holiday hours.
Main Function:
In cooperation with the Medical Staff, the Health System and Director of Pharmacy, participates in programs and procedures designed to promote the appropriate, safe and effective use of medications for Thompson Health patients and residents. Inpatient position.

- Possessing an in-depth knowledge of medications and their uses.

- Medication distribution and compounding
- Drug Information
- Education and Resource Materials
- Formulary Management/Drug Usage
- Adverse Drug Reactions
- Medication Error Prevention
- Nursing/Pharmacy Liaison
- Clinical Computer Applications
- Medication Use Evaluation
- Program Development and Implementation

Qualifications:
- Current New York State licensure and registration required
- Accredited continuing education as required/defined by New York State
- Bachelor’s degree or Pharm. D from accredited pharmacy program required
- Master’s prepared preferred
- BCPS preferred
- 1-2 years of hospital, nursing home or institutional experience preferred.
Pay Range: $53.30 -$60.00
Starting Pay Rate: Based on experience
