Company : Uranium Energy CorpJob Site Address : 20278 N FM 81, Hobson, TX 78117QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or a related technical field;Minimum 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting including the testing of environmental samples or chemical products utilizing laboratory instrumentation and equipment such as ICP-MS, GC-MS, ICP, or GC;Minimum 2 years of experience with computer software including Excel, Word, and instrument-specific programs for quality control and data reduction; andMinimum 2 years of experience in handling laboratory equipment and glassware.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES : Provide accurate, dependable analysis of uranium concentrations from the wellfield through yellowcake utilizing ICPMS;Provide accurate, dependable analysis of elution fluids and waste streams utilizing ICPMS and other instrumental and manual methods;Provide maintenance and troubleshooting support for plant and laboratory analytical instrumentation;Provide analytical support to verify and track chemical concentrations in elutions; based on analyses, provide elution fluid makeup "recipes" and "precipitation sheets" for plant personnel;Based on analyses and calculations utilizing complex Excel spreadsheets, provide recommendations to operators on chemical additions needed for elution fluid makeup and uranium precipitations;Provide analytical support to track the production of chemistry;Develop new analytical methods as necessary to meet company needs; andTrack supply and equipment needs for Hobson laboratory and inform the Site Superintendent of needs.TO APPLY : SEND RESUME VIA EMAIL AT : TRAVEL REQUIREMENT : Up to 10% of domestic travels required.
