What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bio Mass Prep and Packaging Team Member position at Urb Cannabis?
Biomass Prep/Packager:
The packer is responsible for the safe, efficient, and mindful handling, preparing, filling, and packaging of incoming and outgoing orders. The typical products handled on a weekly basis can range from flower to concentrates, and other pre-packaged material to be relabeled. Our Packaging team is trained to package a variety of products in a safe and clean environment while maintaining any and all packaging and production equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, measure, weigh, label and record products packaged in accordance with facility SOP’s.
- Grinding and preparing cannabis to be used in hydrocarbon extraction.
- Additional support role in the laboratory. Support includes but isn't limited to prepping CRC media, cleaning and monitoring inventory
- Must be capable of sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, or walking for extended periods of time.
- Must be capable of using both hands and holding small tools designed to aid in the packaging process.
- Ability to set and meet goals within structured timeframes
- May be required to lift, pull or push 30 lbs
- Identify and dispose of defective items.
- Keep complete records of all materials that go through the warehouse.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and the flexibility to adapt to change as needed
Requirements
- Must be 21 or older
- Comfortable working in colder laboratory environments.
- Must be able to work well with others
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
