Our company is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team, and our ideal candidate will maintain the building and facility infrastructure including all systems. This includes HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems as well as building structure, walkways and grounds. The right candidate should be well-versed in both general construction skills as well as specific knowledge related to the building industry.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain physical building structures such as roofs and other exterior features.
- Be knowledgeable concerning building utilities such as electricity and water.
- Maintain inventory levels and place orders for parts and supplies.
- Assist with hiring and training new maintenance workers.
- Maintain records of safety equipment and ensure that it is in proper working order.
- Be able to have detailed communication with the manager or supervisor.
- Install new appliances and fixtures when they arrive at the building.
- Handle trash removal.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
Work Location: In person
Salary : $16 - $17
